Prof. Dr. MD. Manir Hossain Khan graduated from Dhaka Medical College and at the University of Dhaka in January 1996 and started his career in surgery at same Institute.

He joined BARDEM Hospital Shahabag after completion of internship in 1997 and did surgery training and job upto may 2001. We joined government service under the Ministry of Health and welfare Bangladesh in may 2001. He worked  different post of surgery as assistant surgeon, Assistant registrar Indoor medical officer (IMO), register residence at John (RS), Casualty upto December 2005. He promoted associate professor of surgery from June 2013 and continuing same post up to date .

He obtained MCPS (Surgery) on January 2001, FCPS( Surgery) On January 2003 Obtained mrcs ( Surgery) From UK 2011. He also obtained A fellowship of basic and advanced laparoscopy from India. He obtained Laparoscopy ( India), FACRSI, Colorectal ( India). He also obtained Fellowship training on hepatobiliary surgery, Bariatric surgery (India), And advanced Laparoscopic  Gynae surgery.

Dr MD Manir Hussain Khan Served as  Indoore Medical Officer IMO BARDEM Hospital Rajshahi Medical College Hospital. Shaheed Soharwardi Hospital. He also served as Registrar  and Residents Surgeon  (RS) Casualty in Dhaka Medical College and Hospital. Then he joined as Assistant Professor of surgery BSMMU and work as an associate Professor in BSMMU upto Date.
